Field notes
This is where short writeups will live — what we shipped, what we broke, what we learned on the way. There aren't any yet, and we'd rather say that out loud than fake it with placeholders.
We'll publish the first note when there's something real to say. Not on a schedule, not for SEO — when the work earns the writeup.
Why this page exists before the writing does.
We'd rather ship the route empty than wait until everything is polished. If we link to /notes from the footer, that link should resolve to something honest — not a 404, not a marketing placeholder.
The first writeup will land here when the work it describes is finished. Until then, this page is the writeup.
What to expect.
3 kinds of writing
Field reports
What broke in production, what we changed, what we measured.
Not a postmortem template — a sentence or two of context, the actual diff, the result. Short enough to read on a phone.
Protocol notes
Why we picked one transport over another, and what we tried first.
Mostly Icepath and Iceslab internals. Includes the things that didn't work — those are usually the interesting half.
Studio updates
Quiet release notes, scope changes, what we cut and why.
If a project moved on the roadmap, this is where the reason lives. Marked Studio · informational, not promotional.

ping you when it's up.
One-off email when the first note ships — no list, no campaigns. After that, RSS is the way.
